This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which SPJ PUBLICATION PVT. LTD. ("we," "us," or "our") accepts returns and processes refunds for products and services purchased through our website. We are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent business practices.
Order Cancellation Policy
SPJ Publication offers customers the option to cancel orders for printed books or other physical products within five (5) calendar days from the date of delivery, or from the date a third party, other than the shipping carrier, takes possession of the goods on your behalf. To initiate a cancellation, customers must submit a written request via email to return@spjpublication.com, including the relevant order number and contact information. Upon receipt of your cancellation request, we will provide confirmation and instructions on the next steps.
Please note that for digital content or publishing services, cancellations are only accepted prior to the commencement of the service or before any digital files have been released to the customer. Once the service has begun or files are delivered, cancellation requests cannot be accommodated.
Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed within five (5) business days after we have received the returned goods in acceptable condition. Refunds will be issued through the original method of payment without any processing fees deducted.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, physical goods must meet the following conditions:
- The item was purchased within the last five (5) calendar days.
- The goods must be unused and returned in their original packaging to ensure they remain in a resalable condition.
- Proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt, must accompany the return.
Items failing to meet these criteria, including those returned after five days from delivery, items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts, will not be accepted for return or refund.
Please be aware that digital products, eBooks, or services are non-returnable once access has been granted or delivery has occurred.
Regarding Article Processing Charges (APC), a partial refund of 50% may be issued only if the cancellation is requested within two (2) days of payment and before any editorial or production work has commenced.
Return Process and Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost and risk of shipping the returned goods back to SPJ Publication. We highly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method to ensure the safe delivery of your return, as we cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit.

Once the returned items are received and inspected to confirm they meet our return policy requirements, we will initiate the refund process. Please allow reasonable time for inspection and refund processing.
Gifts and Promotional Items
If the returned item was marked as a gift and was shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of the return once we receive the item. The gift credit may be issued via mail or email as a gift certificate for future use.
If the gift was not marked as such or was sent to the gift giver, the refund will be processed to the original payment method of the gift giver.
Promotional items that were provided free with your purchase must be returned along with the main product. Failure to return promotional items may result in a deduction from your refund amount corresponding to the value of the promotional goods.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Digital products, eBooks, or downloadable content once access has been granted or download links have been provided.
- Publishing services where work has commenced or files have been delivered to the customer.
- Customized or personalized products that were made specifically according to customer specifications.
- Items returned after the five (5) day return window has expired.
- Products that show signs of use, damage, or are not in their original condition with all packaging intact.
Refund Processing Timeline
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification confirming that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed within five (5) business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
If you have not received your refund after the stated period, please first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at return@spjpublication.com.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange a product for the same item, please send an email to return@spjpublication.com with details of the issue and photos of the damaged or defective item, along with your order number.
Upon verification, we will send you a replacement product at no additional cost. If the same item is not available, we will offer you a full refund or store credit for future purchases.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund yet, please take the following steps:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again to ensure the refund has not been processed.
- Contact your bank or credit card company, as there may be processing delays on their end.
- If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at return@spjpublication.com with your order details.
Shipping Costs for Returns
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of significant value, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
